Pictures from the CN Tower Space Pod

Starting with the best-quality of the pictures, this one is of Hanlan's Point in the Toronto Islands. You can see a piece of the Island Airport. Lake Ontario is beyond.
View

Extending out a little further, you can see Mississauga in the distance. In the really detailed photo I have (not here), you can make out the Tomken Incinerator smoke stacks.
View

This is the Molson Amphitheatre (outdoor concerts) and Ontario Place (mostly known for IMAX).
View

Looking almost straight down from the CN Tower, you can see several bank towers. Notably: TD, Bank of Montreal, and Bank of America. Near the center of the photo is the round building of Roy Thompson Hall. On the bottom left hand corner, you can see a piece of the CBC building.
View

Here, you see just a bunch of houses. This is the view facing East York and Rexdale beyond.
View

Looking down and facing west, you can see the Gardiner Expressway (left), Spadina (which is more built-up by now) in the foreground, and Bathurst in the middle ground beyond that, parallel to Spadina.
View

This also shows the Gardiner extending away from us, and a marina on the lakeside. You can also see a piece of the Island Airport runway.
View

Another shot of the Gardiner extending west of the CN Tower.
View

A full view of the Island Airport, along with the Marina behind a comdominium.
View

This is the Skydome, now known as the Roger's Skydome. We are looking straight down on it, since the CN Tower is right next door!
View

Another view of the Urban Jungle. Bank towers: TD, BofM, Canada Trust, Bank of America. You can also see the Royal York Fairmont Hotel, and the Union Station.
